How we charge
No subscription, ever
- Nothing recurring. We don't charge you monthly and there's nothing to cancel. Buy credits when you need them, and not before.
- Buy as much as you need, once. A single payment for the pack you choose. If that's all you ever need, that's all you ever pay.
- Bought credits never expire. Come back in a year and they're still there.
- You only spend on work that happens. A font costs credits because it asks an AI to draw a whole alphabet. Browsing, downloading your OTF and fixing letters you already paid for cost nothing extra.
- A failed font costs nothing. If the drawing fails, the credits go straight back.
- Your fonts wait for you. Keep 3 of them free, open them again whenever you like and carry on editing. Room for 10 more costs 30 credits, once.

Questions about payment
Is there a subscription?
No. There's no subscription and no recurring charge — nothing to cancel. You buy a pack of credits once, spend them whenever you like, and they never expire.
Do credits expire?
Bought credits never expire. The free monthly credits top back up to 15 on the 1st rather than piling up, so they don't accumulate while you're away.
Can I use it without paying at all?
Yes. 15 credits with no sign-up, and 15 free every month once you sign in. Plenty of people never need to buy anything.
What if a font comes out wrong?
If the drawing fails, your credits go back automatically. If one letter came out badly, fix it in the editor rather than paying for a whole new font.
Can I come back and edit a font later?
Yes. Sign in and press "Save to my fonts", and it waits on your shelf — open it any time to fix letters, add a language or download another format. 3 fonts are free to keep; room for 10 more is 30 credits, paid once.
Can I use the fonts commercially?
Yes. The fonts you make are yours — for client work, products, packaging or anything else.

How does an editable code work?
See dynamic, trackable QR codes. The code opens a short kaytey.com link, which sends people on to the address you choose. Change that address in My QR codes and the printed code goes there from the next scan.
What happens if I cancel?
Your codes keep working and keep going where you last sent them. Changing them and seeing scans pause until you start Business again.
What do the scan counts show?
How many times each code was scanned, by day, by country and by kind of phone. We don’t keep IP addresses or anything else that identifies the person scanning.
Can I see what people do after they scan?
Yes. Each code adds UTM tags to the address it opens (utm_source=qr, utm_medium=qr_code and a campaign name you choose), so Google Analytics or any other analytics on your site shows those visits and what they did next: a booking, a sale, a sign-up. Change the tags or switch them off per code.
Can I make an existing free code editable?
No. A free code holds its link inside the pattern, so it can’t change. Make a new editable code and print that one.
